AAAF secures $40,000 in funding from QBE Employee Choice Grant

AAAF secures $40,000 in funding from QBE Employee Choice Grant

The QBE Employee Choice category invites QBE employees based in Australia to support a charity they work with or feel passionate about, by collaborating on a local grant application.

AAAF would like to thank Amy, a mother of a daughter with Alopecia Areata for nominating us for a QBE Employee Choice Grant.

Amy’s dedication and advocacy for Alopecia Areata did not go unnoticed. Her heartfelt efforts to shed light on the challenges faced by individuals and families affected by the condition truly resonated with her colleagues. As she stood before them, sharing her firsthand experiences and the impact of AAAF’s support, it was evident that her passion was infectious. The culmination of her hard work and perseverance led to a moment where her colleagues, moved by her presentation, had the opportunity to cast their votes for the grant recipient. Amy’s journey exemplifies the power of personal connection and the impact one individual can have in making a difference for a cause they deeply care about.

AAAF is so grateful for this funding and are excited to announce that the AAADventure Camp for 2025 will be held in Queensland on the Sunshine Coast.
