AAAF are pleased to welcome Jessica to our team as our first ever Branch Manager for the state of Tasmania!
We have long been looking to grow our support network and volunteer team in Tasmania. During preparations for our first ever major event in TAS, hosted in Hobart on the 29th of April, Jessica shared her story with local news to promote the event and raise Alopecia Awareness. You can read one of the articles she contributed to here.
Having a Branch Manager for the state of Tasmania will help AAAF to improve our support and services available in the garden state. We have just launched an online Alopecia Support Group for Tasmania. Joining our Support Groups is a great way connect with other people living with alopecia areata near you. They are a supportive, friendly environment for people to ask questions, seek resources and organise events. Find out more about Alopecia Support Groups and ask to join our new Tasmanian group here.
