Abbie – Sponsorship Update
Hi, I’m Abbie, and I’m thrilled to share a little glimpse into my world of dance, made possible by the incredible sponsorship from the AAAF. Your support has given me the chance to expand my passion.
This year has been a whirlwind of rhythm and movement, as my tap, jazz, and hip hop troupe dove headfirst into two dance competitions. And guess what? We came out shining like stars! Our hip hop routines, which are undeniably the most fun dances ever, brought home first place in both competitions. The energy, the beats, and the unity of our troupe on that stage – it’s a feeling that’s impossible to put into words.
But the celebrations didn’t stop there! Our dedication to tap and jazz paid off too. We secured a well-deserved place and even got an honorable mention. The thrill of perfecting every step and the pride of showcasing our progress was an experience that truly touched our hearts.
Beyond the excitement of performing, there’s something magical about the dance community – the camaraderie, the backstage buzz, and the awe-inspiring variety of dances from all around. Watching fellow dancers shine and sharing in their stories has been a true privilege.
Now, as we turn our focus to the grand finale, we’re getting ready to dazzle at the end-of-year concert happening at the Crown Theatre this November. The excitement is building, and the thought of gracing that stage is both thrilling and humbling. It’s an opportunity we’re all eagerly anticipating!
