Innovate Clinical Research, a Phase 1b clinical trial site based in Waitara, Sydney

Directly from the provider: This investigational Phase 1 study is evaluating the safety and efficacy of an investigational infusion for severe Alopecia Areata. Researchers are seeking to understand how this investigational compound works. Your participation will help gather vital information to advance scientific understanding. 

Taking part involves approximately 13 in-person clinic visits over 36 weeks for investigational infusions and health assessments. You will receive close medical monitoring throughout the study. You will be reimbursed for your time and travel expenses. Learn more about participation and see if you may be eligible. 

Eligibility criteria:

  • Aged 18 to 75 years
  • Clinical diagnosis of severe to very severe Alopecia Areata
  • At least 50% scalp hair loss
  • No other cause of hair loss
  • Generally in good health

Please note: Patients who have previously tried a JAK or TYK2 inhibitor (e.g. Rinvoq, Olumiant, Jakavi, Cibinqo) and it didn’t work for them are excluded. If a patient has responded well to a JAK previously but has since stopped, they may still be eligible after a 12-week washout.
