Say congratulations to Jess and Stacey!

Say congratulations to Jess and Stacey!

Jess and Stacey have swapped positions! As of 2024, Jess is the Tasmania and Stacey is the Tasmanian Branch Manager and Jess is a Support Ambassador.

Stacey joined the AAAF in November 2018 after having lived with Alopecia for over a decade. She volunteered as a Support Ambassador for 5 years and then transitioned to the role of Tasmanian Branch Manager in early 2024. Stacey developed Alopecia Areata at the age of 9, that has since developed to Alopecia Universalis. She has been an active participant in the Tasmanian support group by attending events as well as the annual kids camps and contributing to ideas and planning. Stacey hopes to be a positive role model to individuals as she knows Alopecia is as much a mental and emotional battle as it is physical.

Jess has been involved with the AAAF as Branch Manager from 2018-2023, and transitioning to Support Ambassador in 2024. Jessica is enthusiastic about creating a more extensive support network within Tasmania. Jess is passionate about building supportive relationships, creating understanding and awareness as she understands the need for support and assistance locally. Jess’s favourite place is the beach.
